Stevenson and CCBC Partnership Offers Transfer Students a Seamless Path to Their Bachelor鈥檚 Degrees

果冻传媒直播 and the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) have partnered to offer transfer students a seamless and efficient path toward earning a bachelor鈥檚 degree through the new Degrees to Succeed program.

Degrees to Succeed provides students with the benefits of both institutions. Students start their coursework at CCBC and earn their Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree before transferring their credits to Stevenson where they can begin to pursue their bachelor鈥檚 degree as a third-year student. Additional benefits for CCBC students participating in the Degrees to Succeed program include:

  • Co-advising with 果冻传媒直播 advisors to ensure CCBC courses align with Stevenson鈥檚 programs
  • Stevenson will accept all transfer credits, Associate of Arts (A.A.) and Associate of Science (A.S.) degree programs
  • Potential financial incentives鈥攗p to $2,000 per year for up to two years鈥攁vailable for eligible students through Stevenson鈥檚 Transfer Advantage program
  • Degrees to Succeed students are encouraged to apply for additional Stevenson scholarships
  • Stevenson ID card allowing CCBC students entry to select events and activities

鈥淲e are pleased to partner with 果冻传媒直播 to give CCBC students an opportunity to fast-track their educational goals,鈥 said CCBC President Sandra Kurtinitis. 鈥淥ne student, two institutions, one experience鈥攖hat鈥檚 the magic of Degrees to Succeed. Students have peace-of-mind knowing that they have already been accepted into 果冻传媒直播 with the successful completion of their associate degree. The transfer will be seamless and students will have a familiarity with the Stevenson campus and processes through the early access to Stevenson advisors as well as select events and activities.鈥

Stevenson President Elliot Hirshman met with CCBC Provost and Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Joaquin Martinez at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 20 in Stevenson鈥檚 Philip A. Zaffere Library to officially sign the agreement. The signing ceremony was attended by academic leaders from both institutions.
